Vanessa Bryant posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.
Monday, Feb. 14 was Valentine’s Day. In the sports world, messages were posted on their social media accounts to their significant others.
Vanessa Bryant shared a touching tribute to her late husband and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on her Instagram account with a caption reading “Happy Valentine’s Day, Baby. My Forever Valentine.”

One day prior, a Super Bowl commercial featuring Vanessa Bryant aired on NFL Network. Bryant spoke about the city of Los Angeles, which hosted Super Bowl 56. Bryant was filmed sitting in a car that was parked in front of a mural of her husband Kobe and their daughter, Gianna.
“This is Los Angeles,” Vanessa says in the clip, h/t US Weekly. “The city of angels. Where iconic teams, where iconic moments and where icons have etched their place in the storybook of history. Where nothing is impossible without a lot of hard work and a little imagination.”

On Jan. 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna, and seven passengers were killed in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif.
Over a year following his tragic passing, Bryant was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where Vanessa accepted on his behalf while paying tribute to him.
