Kansas City Chiefs Mock Draft – 4th Round

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 124. WR . Ole Miss. Dontario Drummond. 102. player

You’ve been waiting for an offensive pick and you’ve got it here with Ole Miss wide receiver Dontario Drummond. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder is being looked at as fourth/fifth-rounder and with the Chiefs selecting at No. 102 overall, he should be there.

For this Kansas City offense, it just feels like there’s a small piece missing to things. That might sound crazy with Mahomes throwing the ball all over the field, with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce being outstanding too.

However, guys like Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle aren’t the kind of game-breakers that Chiefs fans were hoping they’d be. Enter Drummond. This kid can flat out fly when he’s on the field and he could be a nice weapon for Mahomes to look at.

In 2021, Drummond caught 76 balls for 1,028 yards and eight touchdowns. In the Sugar Bowl loss to Baylor, Drummond led Ole Miss with his nine receptions for 104 yards. He’s got the kind of hands and speed that Mahomes would love. Kansas City needs to make this happen.
