2022 NFL Draft: Los Angeles Chargers 7-round mock

Los Angeles Chargers Mock Draft – Fourth Round
One player of the many Georgia Bulldogs who will be taken in the 2022 NFL Draft is offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer. While most of the Georgia stars entering the draft played on the defensive side of the ball, Salyer is exactly what any NFL team should be looking for in a mid-round line prospect. He is versatile, he is strong, he is a leader, he is the absolute total package.
Georgia does not beat the Alabama Crimson Tide to win the College Football Playoff without Salyer starring on the offensive line. Whether he needs to road grade in the ground game or stand firm and keep the integrity of a pocket in good standing, Salyer would do wonders playing next to Linsley for the Bolts. Surely, Herbert will be thankful of landing this line prospect in the NFL Draft.
Is Salyer a panacea for what ails the Chargers? Not exactly, as nobody is. However, he brings a championship pedigree to an organization in dire need of trying to figure out how to get out of its own way for once. Georgia was a snakebitten SEC program … until it wasn’t. The Chargers are as snakebitten as they come in the NFL. Look for Salyer to come in and help change their mindset.
The best way to get a culture turned around is to bring in those who have won big games before.
