4. Ryan Fitzpatrick

The 2021 season ended before it could even really start for ageless wonder Ryan Fitzpatrick. The veteran quarterback signed a one-year deal with Washington, but he suffered a hip injury in Week 1.

Then, Fitzpatrick had to have surgery and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the year. Despite being 39 years old and going through his serious injury, Fitzpatrick hasn’t decided if he’ll retire or not. If he does decide to play one more season, there will surely be interest.

Fitzpatrick may not put up the kind of numbers you’ll see from Patrick Mahomes or Rodgers, but he’s proven late in his career that he can still make plays when his number is called.

In 2020, Fitzpatrick appeared in nine games for Miami and made seven starts. He ended up throwing for 2,091 yards and 13 touchdowns. We’ll have to wait and see if Fitzpatrick decides to retire or not, but again, if he does come back, he should get some offers.
