Davante Adams is the top wide receiver on the free-agent market, but what other pass catchers are available to teams in need of weapons?

The NFL has become a passing league and the best evidence of that comes from the two teams who played in Super Bowl LVI. Odell Beckham, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and eventual Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp made huge plays throughout the game.

Wide receivers will be a hot commodity on the free-agent market, especially since this year’s crop has a ton of talent in it. Let’s take a look at five of the best receivers available, beginning with a guy who just won a Super Bowl ring.

5. Top free-agent wide receivers: Odell Beckham Jr.

The move from Cleveland to Los Angeles proved to be a wise one for Beckham, who re-established himself as a dominant force with the Rams. The injury to Robert Woods created more targets for Beckham, who became a valuable second option opposite Kupp and even caught the first touchdown of the Super Bowl.

The downer here for Beckham is that he tore his ACL in the game, which is ill-timed for him to hit the open market. Beckham caught 27 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight games for the Rams during the regular season while contributing another 26 receptions for 288 yards and two more touchdowns in four postseason games.

The ACL injury will put a damper on Beckham’s market, likely taking a huge multi-year deal off the table, but there will still be teams interested in grabbing him on a short-term prove-it deal. A reunion with the Rams could be in the cards for Beckham unless a team in need of a top receiver is willing to roll the dice on him being the same guy post-surgery.
