Odell Beckham Jr. is now a Super Bowl champion, but did he praise his former quarterback Eli Manning on the sideline during Super Bowl 56?

A Super Bowl victory was Odell Beckham’s career aspiration. On Sunday, he earned it.

Beckham’s electric rookie season with the New York Giants highlighted his potential with 91 receptions and over 1,300 yards. He also cemented himself on the national stage by making one of the greatest catches of our generation against the Cowboys. Yet a ring remained elusive.

Did Odell Beckham Jr. give praise to Eli Manning during the Super Bowl?

In New York, it was Eli Manning getting the ball to Beckham, and he did so often. Manning, who won two Super Bowls with the Giants before Beckham’s arrival, connected with the LSU product for more than 4,000 yards in their first three campaigns together.

Unfortunately, the relationship between Manning and Beckham has been filled with controversy in recent years. Beckham’s trade to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, along with numerous outlandish comments, likely fractured that relationship.

However, Manning has since expressed joy at Beckham’s newfound success in Los Angeles and Beckham may have returned some praise after his spectacular catch to open the scoring at SoFi Stadium last Sunday.

Against the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with Beckham on a 17-yard touchdown to open the scoring. The receiver celebrated with a signature moonwalk dance on the national stage and proved he is just as electric as he was in New York.

Beckham made a comment some believe to be praising Manning on the sideline after the play. “I don’t know why you didn’t wear No. 10. All you throw is dimes,” Beckham said.

So what does it mean? Well, either Beckham was referring to his former teammate or meant 10 as in the amount of money a dime is worth. You be the judge.
