Yes, technically Alabama was a national champion way back when in men’s college basketball. The NCAA Tournament as we know it didn’t start until 1939, when the Oregon Ducks took home the trophy. However, the Crimson Tide won it all in 1930 but they haven’t been to a Final Four since.
