Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Goldberg
Roman Reign may have lost his match to Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble, but he did retain the Universal Championship due to getting disqualified. He did get revenge on his former Shield partner by attacking him mercilessly with a steel chair.
Standing victorious on the first SmackDown following the event, Reigns was confronted and challenged to a Universal Championship match by Goldberg.
Back in 2020, the two were supposed to square off at WrestleMania 36. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, Reigns withdrew from the match. Less than two years later, the match that WWE wanted to take place is finally happening.
Reigns was already challenged by Lesnar to a title match at WrestleMania. Given that his reign has lasted over 500 days and the big show on the horizon, Reigns is definitely winning. That, and this is Goldbergās final match on his current contract. You can easily bet on Reigns walking out with his title.
Winner: Roman Reigns
