One of the best things about the college softball season is the invitational tournaments that take place in fascinating locations and host a number of interesting teams. Down in Florida, some of the best teams in the country are facing off in the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational.
While the Oklahoma Sooners won’t be there, a number of other elite teams will be. More or less, it almost feels like a miniature Women’s College World Series with the caliber of talent present.
Here are the games you need to tune in to this weekend.
St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational

- Friday, Feb. 18 at 11:30 a.m. CT – Tennessee vs. Washington
- Friday, Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. – Texas vs. Florida State
- Friday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. – LSU vs. Oklahoma State
- Friday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. – Clemson vs. Tennessee
- Friday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. – Washington vs. LSU
- Saturday, Feb. 19 at 9:30 a.m. – UCF vs. Tennessee
- Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12 p.m. – Michigan vs. Florida State
- Saturday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. – Texas vs. UCLA
- Saturday, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. – Michigan vs. LSU
If you prefer to watch a couple of games that are set up more like a classic series, Virginia Tech will be down in Tuscaloosa for a brief, two-game tilt with Alabama. That should be a fun matchup to watch.
