5 targets for Browns in 2022 NFL free agency

Mike Williams can be incredibly productive, but has missed games with injuries
While the Browns must address the tight end position in free agency, their biggest area of need is at wide receiver. This is to offset losing Odell Beckham Jr. mid-season. Though the Browns have a proven commodity in the short game in Jarvis Landry, Cleveland needs to get more explosive down the field. One player they could be targeting is Mike Williams of the Los Angeles Chargers.
Williams has spent his entire five-year NFL career out of Clemson with the Bolts. Though injuries are always a concern with him, Williams is a playmaker who once led the league in yards per reception and has two 1,000-yard receiving seasons under his belt professionally. Of course, he has had the luxury of Philip Rivers and now Justin Herbert rifling him the pigskin the entire time.
All things equal, Williams probably re-ups with the Chargers. Why would he want to leave a top-five quarterback in the league who has not even hit his prime to catch passes from a guy who might be gone after next season? However, Williams is never going to be a No. 1 receiver in Los Angeles as long as Keenan Allen plays for the Bolts. If the Browns pay up, they could get Williams.
While he would pair nicely with Landry in the receiving corps, paying a premium here is not ideal.
