Penguins vs Hurricanes NHL live stream reddit: Metropolitan division standings
By Mark Powell
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurricanes battle for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins and Hurricanes both have 70 points to lead the Metropolitan Division, as Pittsburgh has been red-hot of late. Pittsburgh’s last win came thanks to Kris Letang’s winner in overtime, and also Sidney Crosby’s 500th career goal, both of which occurred against the in-state rival Flyers.
Carolina has the edge in points-per-game at the moment, having the same number of points as Pittsburgh yet playing in three less games. This contest is definitely more important for Pittsburgh given the number of games played. Carolina is 6-2-2 in their last ten games.
Pittsburgh has dominated the rest of the Metropolitan division, going 8-2-1 against the rest of the division. Carolina, meanwhile, is 6-4 against the Metro.
