Scouting Report. AFC. Las Vegas Raiders. 1. player. Pick Analysis. West. 28

Is Juju Smith-Schuster ready for stardom under the bright lights of Las Vegas?

This could be a total disaster or what all parties involved need. One team in need of a wide receiver is the Las Vegas Raiders. They have a proven star quarterback in Derek Carr. While they had an interim head coach a season ago, the Silver and Black were still a playoff team in a deep AFC West.  Replacing Rich Bisaccia is former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

This may be what tips the scales in favor of the Raiders landing Smith-Schuster. They are a good team with a lot of talent everywhere. Their quarterback is strong, their new head coach is a proven offensive mind and they are in dire need of that explosive receiving threat over the top. Not only does Smith-Schuster fill the hole the Raiders are missing, but Nevada offers no state income tax.

The stars are aligning for Smith-Schuster to potentially join the Silver and Black. This would be the splashy free-agent acquisition to get Raider Nation excited about next season. If he can develop chemistry quickly with Carr, the Raiders can be back in the AFC playoffs again next year, regardless of what their division rivals do this offseason. This free-agent signing is worthy of rolling the dice.

If Smith-Schuster does decide to leave the Steelers, it would be hard to top what the Raiders have.
