Tom Brady has released details about “80 For Brady”, an upcoming film that Brady will both produce and act in alongside an all-star cast.

For those who were disappointed about the shortened final season of the hit Netflix show “Grace and Frankie“, there’s now another opportunity to see Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda shine together onscreen—and it’s all thanks to Tom Brady.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tomlin and Fonda are set to star in “80 For Brady” alongside Rita Moreno, Sally Field, and Tom Brady himself.

THR reports that Brady’s premier feature-length films borrows a moment shaped by his fairytale life, but this one isn’t actually about Brady. Instead, the four leading ladies portray four friends who have the trip of a lifetime watching Brady play in Super Bowl LI.

“Inspired by a true story, Brady tells of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their quarterback hero, Tom Brady, play and the chaos that ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country,” summarized THR.

In addition to working with some of Hollywood’s best actors, Brady is working with Donna Gigliotti, a producer with Hidden Figures, Silver Linings Playbook and Shakespeare in Love among her credits.

Transitioning out of the NFL isn’t easy, as many NFL players have detailed the mental and physical challenges of continuing life after football ends.

Brady himself has described the difficulty of imaging his life without the sport, but he has spent the past several years preparing for his post-football life. Spending time behind and in front of the camera in docuseries like “Man In The Arena” eventually built up to Brady making his silver screen debut featuring Hollywood legends.
