5. Steven Nelson

Several teams could use the talents of someone like Steven Nelson. Currently with the Philadelphia Eagles, Nelson is coming off a season in which he picked off one pass and recorded 50 tackles during the regular season.

The 29-year-old Nelson isn’t exactly all that young anymore, and he certainly won’t be getting younger, but he has been durable and consistent throughout the seven seasons he has spent in the NFL.

So far, Nelson has played in 98 regular season games while making 84 starts. Throughout his career up to this point, Nelson has recorded 341 tackles and eight picks during the regular season.

He may not be the most dominant corner out there and there are certainly guys available who are more proficient at picking off passes, but Nelson is a solid option for teams who need a reliable veteran who can record some tackles.
