5 targets for Eagles in 2022 NFL free agency

Allen Robinson has one last shot of getting to a team with a good quarterback
Even if Justin Fields has promise under center, wide receiver Allen Robinson is almost certainly walking in his free agency. The former Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowler picked the Chicago Bears in his first foray in free agency. That resulted in him getting a lot of Mitchell Trubisky, Nick Foles and Andy Dalton Matt Nagy nonsense. Fields could be good one day, but he is only a second year pro.
What makes the Eagles a bit different is this. He has somewhat of a baked-in fan base already, as some Eagles fans are Penn Staters. Not only that but Sirianni showed he can devise a winning offense for a quarterback who does not throw the ball down field a ton in Hurts. The good news for Robinson is he is exceptional at catching passes in the short-to-medium range. This can work.
Ultimately, the Eagles must pay a premium to get him, as Robinson will have other options in free agency. Other teams have known how good he is for years, but he has had to deal with the likes of Blake Bortles and Christian Hackenberg rifling him the pigskin. All things equal, he is not at a point in his career where he can go to a team with as risky of as quarterback investment as with Hurts.
The Eagles are an option for Robinson, but they are probably only a dark horse contender for him.
