Which seeds are the most likely to make the Final Four in March Madness? No. 1 seeds have an obvious advantage but don’t sleep on the underdogs.

NCAA tournament bracketology is half the fun of March Madness.

Before the bracket is set, before a ball is bounced, there’s always the chance to speculate over which teams will land in which seed.

Seeds matter, for sure. The higher seeded teams usually stay in the tournament the longest.

However, sometimes a cinderella comes along to shake things up.

Obviously, the No. 1 seeds have a huge advantage when it comes to making the Final Four. They were the best teams in the regular season. It’s no surprise they’re often the best teams in the tournment.

However, not everyone can be a No. 1. It turns out there’s something special about No. 8 and 11 seeds.
