Of course the Packers would take Justin Jefferson from the Vikings
This would be the nightmare of all nightmares for Vikings fans — Justin Jefferson wearing a Packers uniform.
Jefferson was part of the 2019 LSU Tigers team that went undefeated and won the National Championship that year. The then-junior wideout recorded 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in 15 games. Despite his big numbers, Jefferson was the fifth-wide receiver selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Vikings used their first-round pick received from the Buffalo Bills in the Stefon Diggs trade on Jefferson, and it has paid off tremendously through two years.
In his rookie year, Jefferson caught 88-of-125 targets for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro Second Team, while finishing second in the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award behind Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
This past season, Jefferson increased his statistics by recording 108 receptions for 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns on 167 targets. He also led the league in scrimmage yards per touch with 14.3. Jefferson was named ot the Pro Bowl and All Pro Second Team for the second-consecutive year.
Jefferson has already proven to be one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL. Vikings fans will no doubt hope he remains with the team for the rest of his career.
