NFL Combine: What’s the bench press record?

The record for most reps done at the bench press at the NFL Combine is 49. That was set back in 2011 by Oregon State defensive lineman Stephen Paea. Take a look at his performance below, courtesy of FOX Sports NFL’s official Twitter account:

Paea was selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He spent the first four years of his career with the Bears (2011-14), before having short stints with the now-Washington Commanders (2015), Cleveland Browns (2016) and Dallas Cowboys (2017). Paea announces his retirement from the NFL during the 2017 season.

In his career (83 games), Paea recorded 129 combined tackles (24 for loss), 31 quarterback hits, 14 sacks and three forced fumbles.
