2022 NFL Draft: Seattle Seahawks 7-round mock
Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft – Fourth Round
There are several questions that need to be answered for the Seahawks at running back this offseason. For starters, will they re-sign Rashaad Penny? The former first-round pick came into his own late in the 2021 season. Oh, and what about Chris Carson? Will he be healthy next year?
For the Seahawks, they could end up waiting till the fourth round to get a running back at No. 108 overall and Baylor’s Abram Smith will certainly be a player to watch. The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder was quite impressive in 2021.
Last season, he rushed for 1,601 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Bears. In the Sugar Bowl win over Ole Miss, Smith turned plenty of heads after he carried the ball 25 times for 172 yards against Ole Miss.
Smith has impressive speed for his size and he’s not easy to bring down whatsoever. Schneider has to figure some things out with Penny and Carson in the near future, but if Abrams is available at No. 108, Seattle shouldn’t hesitate in picking him.
