Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft – Fourth Round

Alabama. 115. player. LaBryan Ray . 36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DT

The Seahawks have another fourth-round pick, this time at No. 115 overall. How about a bit of a gamble in going with Alabama defensive tackle LaBryan Ray? Ray is a former 5-star recruit, but he never was able to live up to the hype with the Crimson Tide.

Unfortunately for Ray, injuries haunted him while he was in Tuscaloosa, as he battled issues with his foot, elbow and groin. This all added up and it prevented him from consistently being a playmaker for Nick Saban.

Smith is hopeful that an impressive showing at the NFL Combine can help improve his draft stock. For Seattle, again, the defensive line is in need of a serious makeover. Though Ray has a bit of an injury history, this would be a high risk, high reward kind of situation for Schneider.

When healthy, Ray can really be a difference maker and he’s known for having quick hips and feet. Ray is currently projected as a fifth-round pick. It might be a reach to take him in the fourth round, but the Seahawks could end up looking like geniuses if they go with him.
