AEW Revolution 2022 predictions: Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole will shine
By Scott Rogust
AEW Revolution 2022 is the company’s first pay-per-view event of the year, and the card is stacked. Here are predictions for each match.
The first AEW pay-per-view event of the 2022 year takes place on Sunday, March 6, and that is Revolution. As the card began to take shape, it became evident that wrestling fans already had a potential “Show of the Year” candidate.
“Hangman” Adam Page is defending his AEW World Championship against Adam Cole, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD looks to hold onto the AEW Women’s World Championship against rival Thunder Rosa, and CM Punk and MJF take the next step in their heated feud, as they compete in a Dog Collar Match.
Those are only three of the 11 matches scheduled for the show in Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Fla. There is going to be some great wrestling, but if we had to pick winners, here is who we are choosing.
AEW Revolution 2022 card: Predictions for every match
Buy-In Match: Kris Statlander vs. “Legit” Leyla Hirsch
A rivalry match will be taking place on the Buy-In.
Kris Statlander and Leyla Hirsch were tag team partners alongside Red Velvet. Yet, things went awry, which saw Hirsch turn on Statlander. Hirsch then defeated Red Velvet at Beach Break and continued to attack her after the match before Statlander ran out to make the save. Then there was the war of words which created quite the stir on social media.
Statlander and Hirsch faced off last December, with Statlander picking up the win. This time, Hirsch gets the victory.
Winner: Leyla Hirsch
Buy-In Match: HOOK vs. QT Marshall
The face of Rampage every Friday night is HOOK. He was an internet sensation since showing up on television as a member of his father Taz’s stable, Team Taz. HOOK made his debut last year, he has yet to lose a match and absolutely dominated his opponents.
One person who HOOK has gotten under their skin is QT Marshall, who trained him at the Nightmare Factory. He defeated Aaron Solo and one of Marshall’s top students on Rampage.
The match will be on the Buy-In, and you can guarantee HOOK will be victorious over Marshall.
Winner: HOOK
