If the Green Bay Packers were to trade quarterback Jordan Love this offseason, the return would be better than what fans might have guessed.

Let the trade rumors begin. With the news breaking that Aaron Rodgers has agreed to a multi-year extension with the Green Bay Packers, this means that Jordan Love won’t be taking over the offense for the NFC North side anytime soon.

With that, could general manager Brian Gutekunst trade him to a new team? According to Senior Bowl Director Jim Nagy, multiple scouts told him that Green Bay could end up getting a second-rounder for Love.

Could the Green Bay Packers end up trading Jordan Love?

That’s likely not what Packers fans thought the team could potentially get for Love, but the fact of the matter is that the former first-round pick is only entering his third year in the NFL. He’s got plenty of potential and a team could be ready to risk things by trading for him.

Hey, how about the Seattle Seahawks? They just received multiple picks from the Denver Broncos in the Russell Wilson trade and they now need a signal-caller of the future. Would general manager John Schneider be open to going after Love? That remains to be seen.

There are plenty of other teams in need of a quarterback, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders. If those teams think Love is worth a second-rounder, they could come calling as well.

There’s been plenty of movement with quarterbacks this week and there could be plenty more breaking news coming this offseason as well. Love may not be a superstar name, but he may draw plenty of interest in the coming weeks if Green Bay makes him available via a trade.
