Despite agreeing to a historic contract with Aaron Rodgers, there’s still more work to be done for the Packers to try and win the Super Bowl next winter.

There are going to be parties going on for weeks in Green Bay, as the Packers have agreed to a massive four-year, $200 million deal with Aaron Rodgers. Brian Gutekunst had pressure to get things done, and the general manager was able to deliver for the fanbase.

Gutekunst is nowhere done to making moves, however, as he still needs to be working overtime to improve this roster so the Packers can try and win a Super Bowl next year. How can he do that? Here’s a look at three additional moves Gutekunst can make to put Rodgers and the Packers in the best possible position.

3. Use their first-round pick on Treylon Burks

As good as Rodgers is, he still needs some help in terms of playmakers. Davante Adams is arguably the best wideout in the game, but No. 17 can’t to do it all on his own. Enter Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks?

Green Bay holds the No. 28 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and Burks could be there for the team to take him. Burks is a beast of a wideout, as he checks in at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds. He’s a nightmare for defensive backs to try and contain, especially in the red zone.

Burks is coming off an incredible season in 2021, as he posted 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’d have the opportunity to get to Lambeau Field and make an immediate impact for this offense.

With Green Bay potentially losing Marquez Valdes-Scantling in free agency, many out there would argue that the team would be taking a step up with a player of Burk’s caliber. If he’s still available when Green Bay is on the clock, Gutekunst should rock with him.
