Gregg Popovich makes NBA history, passing Don Nelson for most wins

Gregg Popovich record: He probably won’t care much, as is his style, but he just became the all-time winningest coach in NBA history.
The Mount Rushmore on NBA head coaches undoubtedly has Gregg Popovich on it. With a win on Friday night against the Utah Jazz, the Spurs coach made NBA history by passing Don Nelson for most wins.
Popovich won his 1,336th career game thanks to a stellar offensive effort from star Dejounte Murray, and balanced double-digit scoring from Jakob Poeltl, Keldon Johnson, Josh Richardson and Zach Collins.

Popovich is 73 years old. While his title-winning days appear to be behind him without Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, he remains a consistent winner in the Association.
