The Michigan Wolverines continued their Cinderella run in the NCAA Tournament, as they defeated the No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers in the second round.
The Michigan Wolverines were no strangers to pulling off an upset in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. In the opening round, the Wolverines beat the No. 6 Colorado State Rams 75-63 to advance to a matchup against the No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers, the winners of the SEC Tournament. So it should come as no surprise that Michigan has done it again.
On Saturday, Michigan picked up the 76-68 victory over Tennessee to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second-consecutive year.
Below are some of the best tweets and reactions to the Wolverines continuing their dance in the NCAA Tournament.

Way to go @umichbball!
An incredible win by Michigan. Best in Juwan Howard's career, given the personnel issues? I know I had Tennessee in the Final Four.

The Wolverines and Volunteers battled hard until the closing minutes and seconds of the game.
Michigan held a 68-64 lead following two made free throws by Terrance Williams II. Eli Brooks had what looked like a costly turnover by stepping out of bounds, leading to Santiago Vescovi to make a layup to cut Tennessee’s deficit to 68-66. Yet, Brooks redeemed himself with a clutch sky hook with over 50-seconds remaining in regulation.

Brooks then made two free throws to further extend the lead to 72-66, but Tennessee made things a bit interesting after a failed three-point attempt by Josiah-Jordan James turned into a John Fulkerson tipped two-point shot. However, Michigan successfully made their next four shots from the charity stripe to clinch the victory.
Michigan sophomore Hunter Dickinson had himself a game, as he recorded a double-double after scoring a team-high 27 points (8-for-13 from field, 8-for-10 from free throw line) and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Tennessee freshman Kennedy Chandler scored 19 points (9-for-19 from the field) and recorded nine assists.

In an emotional scene after the game, Howard embraced Chandler on the court. This is a sign of great sportsmanship after a hard-fought game. One had their season come to an end while the other lived to see another game.

March Madness bracket update: Who does Michigan play in Sweet 16?
The Wolverines will play the winner of the game between the No. 2 Villanova Wildcats and No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes.
Villanova defeated the No. 15 Delaware Hens 80-60 in the first round. Ohio State faced off against No. 10 Loyola Chicago Ramblers, who have shown they are capable of pulling out big upset victories. The Buckeyes ended any chance of that, as they defeated Loyola Chicago 54-41.
Michigan will take on the winner of Villanova-Ohio State on Thursday, March 24.
