A day after Michigan stunned Tennessee to advance in the NCAA Tournament, Wolverines fans have seen Ohio State bow out following a loss to Villanova.
What a weekend it has been for the Michigan Wolverines. On Saturday night, Juwan Howard and his players were able to celebrate a huge upset win over No. 3 Tennessee. Michigan, the No. 11 seed, beat Colorado State in the first round.
How could things be made even sweeter? On Sunday, Michigan fans were able to enjoy their day even more after seeing Ohio State lose to Villanova. The Buckeyes are now out of the tourney, while Michigan will keep on dancing.
Michigan fans troll Ohio State after another early NCAA Tournament exit
Villanova was the favorite to take down the Buckeyes in this one, but that doesn’t mean that people in Ann Arbor aren’t relishing in the result. A quick look at Twitter shows that Michigan supporters are loving that Ohio State loss.
Hey Ohio State, saving a seat for you in the Sweet Sixteen in San Antonio if you can make it.

Chris Holtmann has been at Ohio State for 5 seasons now and hasn’t taken his team to the Sweet 16 once.

Chris Holtmann’s teams have failed to show up in the NCAA Tournament and had the ugly loss last year to 15-seed Oral Roberts in the first round. Holtmann is still in search of his first Sweet 16 appearance as the Buckeyes coach. Meanwhile, the Wolverines have made the Sweet 16 rather routine.
That’s a bummer. Ohio State-Michigan in the Sweet 16 would’ve been epic.

That’s the lights out for Ohio State. In the win over the Vols, Michigan received brilliant performances from big man Hunter Dickinson and guard Eli Brooks. Dickinson scored a game-high 27 points, while Brooks finished with 23 points. Next up for the Wolverines will be a matchup with Villanova in the Sweet 16.
With the matchup set for Thursday, March 24, Michigan will try to do what Ohio State couldn’t and take down the Wildcats. If that does happen, the Michigan faithful will have even more reason to go after the Buckeyes. If they lose, however, then Ohio State fans will be ready to savage Michigan and return the favor.
