2. Treylon Burks

Burks is another SEC receiver who didn’t light up stopwatches at the Combine. That’s the only reason Burks projects to be on the board when Green Bay goes on the clock towards the bottom of Round 1.

Unlike Pickens, there are no questions about Burks’ strength heading into the NFL. He’s a big-bodied receiver who already understands how to use his size to his advantage. He can win contested catches down the field but, more intriguingly, he also knows how to break tackles once the ball is in his hands.

That ability gives Burks a chance to follow in the footsteps of Deebo Samuel at the next level. He may not have that elite level of athleticism, but he does have the same level of physicality and punishing mindset as the 49ers’ star.

Burks’ lack of track speed might prevent him from ever becoming an elite downfield weapon at the next level, but he projects comfortably as a good No. 2 option on the outside. The Packers might want to take a bigger swing to replace Adams, but Burks’ high-floor will get his name called by someone in Round 1.
