The Duke Blue Devils and Texas Tech Red Raiders meet in the Sweet 16 with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line.

March Madness officially began last week, and the Sweet 16 is set. There are plenty of big games that are available to watch, but perhaps the most enticing matchup is between the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils and No. 3 Texas Tech Red Raiders. Not only is a spot in the Elite Eight on the line, but it could potentially be the final game for head coach Mike Krzyzewski if Duke are to lose.

Duke had themselves quite the battle against No. 7 Michigan State Spartans, but they were able to pull away late for the 85-76 win.

As for Texas Tech, they were able to overcome a late 52-49 deficit to win 59-53, which was solidified on a late dunk by Kevin McCullar.

Here is all of the information you need to know for the big Sweet 16 game.

Duke vs. Texas Tech game time

Duke and Texas Tech face off on Thursday, March 24, at 9:39 p.m. ET, live from the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif. For those who have access to a cable television account, the game will be broadcasted live on CBS. If not, you can stream the game on fuboTV.

Duke vs. Texas Tech prediction

This is a game that can truly go either way. They are two of the top-ranked teams in the West Region for a reason.

The Blue Devils showed that they can really step up in crunch time to close out a game, especially as they try to send Coach K out on top with another National Championship. Even with players like Paolo Banchero to help lead Duke, they will have to face the ultra tough defense of the Red Raiders, who allowed an average of 57.5 points per game through the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

When it comes to who wins, Texas Tech gets the slight edge.

Prediction: Texas Tech beats Duke 78-70
