JuJu Smith-Schuster shuts down Jackson Mahomes TikTok collab

New Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster says that a TikTok collaboration with Jackson Mahomes is not happening.
Prior to the Kansas City Chiefs trading star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the team signed former Pittsburgh Steeler JuJu Smith-Schuster to add to the team’s passing attack. Shortly after the signing, Jackson Mahomes said that “now we have to collab” on a TikTok video.
During an interview with Taylor Bisciotti, Smith-Schuster said that a TikTok collab with Mahomes is “not happening.”
JuJu Smith-Schuster says TikTok collab with Jackson Mahomes ‘not happening’
So there you have it, a collab with Smith-Schuster and quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother is not going to happen. While a collab is not happening, Smith-Schuster did post a TikTok while wearing his brand new No. 9 Chiefs jersey.
Smith-Schuster signed with the Chiefs, who had interest in him the previous offseason, to a one-year, $3.25 million contract. After signing a one-year deal to stay with the Steelers, Smith-Schuster was limited to just five regular-season games due to a shoulder injury. He did return for Pittsburgh’s Wild Card Round game against Kansas City in a losing effort.
On the year, Smith-Schuster caught 15 passes for 129 yards in the regular season and five passes for 26 yards in the Wild Card Round.
With Hill no longer on the Chiefs, Smith-Schuster will see an uptick in targets from Mahomes in the passing attack. The team did sign former Packers wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a three-year contract and earned an extra first-round pick in the Hill trade, which could very well be used on a receiver in the NFL Draft. Either way, Smith-Schuster will be in for a huge season with Kansas City.
