The Louisville Cardinals and the Michigan Wolverines will meet up in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Women’s College Basketball Tournament.
For the first time ever, the Michigan Wolverines have made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Wolverines have been impressive and have been thrilling to keep up with as they took care of the American University Eagles, Villanova Wildcats, and South Dakota Coyotes.
Michigan’s opponent, the Louisville Cardinals, are frequent visitors of the Elite Eight. The Cardinals have one of the best women’s basketball programs in the country and they’re looking to finally win a championship. The Cardinals had to get past the Albany Great Danes, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and Tennessee Lady Volunteers, but Louisville is here and looking to make the Final Four.
Here’s everything you need to keep up with the Cardinals and Wolverines.
Michigan Wolverines vs. Louisville Cardinals Elite Eight game time
The Wolverines and Cardinals will face off at 9 p.m ET on Monday, March 28. The game is taking place at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. ESPN will be broadcasting the game, but folks who would rather watch a live stream should check out FuboTV.
Michigan Wolverines vs. Louisville Cardinals Elite Eight prediction
Both of these teams have shown that they deserve to be in this position. Both have shown that they can contend with some of the best in the country to keep advancing on. Both have shown that they will be able to survive some interesting challenges.
That said, Michigan hasn’t been here before. The Wolverines have recently shown some vulnerabilities and haven’t been as great as they were earlier in the NCAA Tournament. Louisville is the logicial choice for folks looking for a winner, but it should be a pretty enjoyable (and close) game to keep up with.
Prediction: Louisville wins, 72-64
