Bianca Belair reveals surprising favorite WrestleMania match and moment ever
By Scott Rogust
In an interview with FanSided, Bianca Belair revealed her favorite WrestleMania match and moment she’s ever watched.
The 38th edition of WrestleMania takes place this weekend, Apr. 2 and 3, live at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Given how long WrestleMania has been in existence, there is always a favorite match of all-time for those who watch wrestling and those who are professional wrestlers.
I spoke with Bianca Belair in a FanSided interview, where she revealed that her favorite WrestleMania match, and her favorite moment, she’s ever watched was Kofi Kingston versus Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Belair also revealed some other matches she liked.
“I would say my favorite WrestleMania match, it goes into my favorite WrestleMania moment, it’s definitely Kofi Mania [at WrestleMania 35], because I wasn’t just watching a match, I was watching a moment, I was watching history,” said Belair.
“I remember watching the triple threat [at WrestleMania 32] with Sasha Banks, Becky [Lynch] and Charlotte [Flair]. I really like the match with Charlotte and Asuka at [WrestleMania 34].”

Bianca Belair reveals her favorite WrestleMania match and moment
Kofi Mania in 2019 was a moment that WWE fans were really invested in. Kingston replaced Mustafa Ali in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match due to injury. He was a veteran that fans got behind, cheering him on to defeat Bryan for the title. While Kingston and Bryan were the last two competitors remaining in the Chamber match, Kingston lost to Bryan at the end.
Following that show, Kingston tried to get a one-on-one WWE Championship match against Bryan at WrestleMania, but Vince McMahon had him go through these intense, impossible challenges to earn it. Eventually, Big E and Xavier Woods helped give Kingston his opportunity at WrestleMania, winning a tag-team gauntlet match on an episode of SmackDown.
The crowd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford for WrestleMania 35 was electric for Kingston versus Bryant. It was a competitive back and forth match, and the fans in attendance were hooked on every move. Eventually, Kingston hit his Trouble in Paradise finisher on Bryan to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career, becoming the first African-born world champion in the company’s history. After the match, Kingston celebrated with the New Day and his children in the ring in an emotional moment.
Bianca Belair on the first WrestleMania she’s watched
Additionally, Belair spoke on the first WrestleMania she ever got to attend.
“The first WrestleMania that I actually got to go to and attend was WrestleMania [33] in Orlando,” said Belair. “And it was my very first one when I started working in WWE, because when WrestleMania [32] was in Dallas, that was the year that I started in WWE, but I missed it. I started right after WrestleMania.
“So it’s really cool to be now back in Dallas because that was the one that I actually missed. So it’s a full circle for me.”
WrestleMania 32 featured the match that Belair alluded to earlier, and that was Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match. But it was a match for the new WWE Women’s Championship, which replaced the then-Divas Championship. The match stole the show and Flair won the first-ever championship by making Lynch tap-out to the Figure 8.
As Belair says, she will now be competing at WrestleMania in Dallas this year, where she will look to defeat Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. Just last year at WrestleMania 37, Belair won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Banks in the main event. Belair will now look to win a title for the second-consecutive year at “the Showcase of the Immortals.”
Nights One and Two of WrestleMania 38 will take place on April 2 and 3 live at 8:00 p.m. ET.
