USMNT World Cup schedule revealed: Fans react to facing England, more

The World Cup Draw took place on Friday and the big news for the US National Team is that they’ll be taking on England. 

After the USA qualified for the World Cup earlier in the week, fans of the red, white and blue can’t wait to see what this team will be able to do in Qatar. With the draw going down on Friday, fans are jacked up at the team’s potential of getting out of Group B.

The big news for the U.S. is that they’ve been matched up with England and Iran, while the fourth member of the group will be determined at a later date. People are ready to see the USA and England face off, as this will be a showdown to remember.

The USMNT taking on England in the group stages will be must-watch television

Christian Pulisic is known as Captain America and he and the rest of his teammates will have their hands full going up against Raheem Sterling, Bukayo Saka, Luke Shaw, Harry Kane and others. As you might have been able to guess, fans are losing their minds right now on Twitter.

People can’t wait to see the USA take on England. For Pulisic and the rest of the squad., many out there believe this is a fantastic draw and they’ve got a great shot of moving on to the Round of 16. On paper, the USA should take care of business against Iran.

The team won’t know its final opponent for the group for a little while, as the last Group B participant will be determined in the European playoff. It will either be Wales, Scotland or Ukraine. All in all, the draw could have been much worse for the USA. There’s plenty of hope this team can push through the group stages.
