This Coach K tribute video featuring many Duke basketball legends is simply incredible.

As Mike Krzyzewski is about to take part in his last Final Four, many Duke basketball legends came together to help create this amazing tribute video for Coach K.

He is Duke basketball. Coach K took this little ACC school and turned it into a national powerhouse. Krzyzewski has won five national titles while at Duke, touching the lives of many young men over the course of the last four decades. From Grant Hill to Bobby Hurley to Christian Laettner to his successor Jon Scheyer, Krzyzewski was brought to tears watching this video at Cameron Indoor.

And it was not just former Duke players in this video, as key members of the United States Men’s Basketball Team, his three daughters, his grandson Michael Savarino and his wife Mickie were all part of the Oscar-worthy short film.

Duke basketball: This Coach K tribute video will have you tearing up as well

Love him or hate him, you cannot deny the impact Krzyzewski has had on the game of basketball. Many of his former Duke players have gone on to have incredible pro careers. Though Hill, Hurley and Laettner are the three players most connected to him because they helped him win his first national title, Krzyzewski’s impact is well beyond the reach of the Durham court bearing his name.

When you see modern NBA icons like Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant and James Harden speak this glowingly about a college coach they never played for in undergrad, you fully understand the big picture. When one of his greatest coaching rivals in Michigan State legend Tom Izzo makes an appearance in the video, you understand the impact he has on the coaching profession as well.

Whether Coach K’s coaching career ends on Saturday vs. arch rival North Carolina in New Orleans or as a six-time national champion over the likes of Kansas or Villanova on Monday, his legacy is cemented. He is Duke basketball. Krzyzewski created a brand out of seemingly nothing built on excellence. Critics may call it elitists. Proponents of his would call that jealousy. He is a legend.

Scheyer may have been handpicked to replace him, but those shoes are never going to be filled.
