New York Jets Mock Draft – Fifth Round

Saleh likes to rotate his defensive linemen to keep them effective and New York has a need for depth at defensive tackle after Foley Fotukasi left for Jacksonville. Ridgeway is a solid run-stuffer who can help fill the void Fotukasi left behind with the potential to grow into a starter in a few years.

The Jets could use some depth behind C.J. Mosley at inside linebacker and Rodriguez offers value as a rotational player. The fact that Rodriguez also can play on special teams is a strong consideration for this pick.

New York Jets Mock Draft – Sixth Round

The Jets do not own a sixth-round pick after trading theirs to the Minnesota Vikings along with tight end Chris Herndon last year. The deal netted Douglas Minnesota’s fourth round pick in this draft.

New York Jets Mock Draft – Seventh Round

The Jets also don’t have a seventh-round choice after trading it to the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2020 season as part of a deal that also involved linebacker Avery Williamson. Pittsburgh sent their fifth-round pick in this year’s draft back to the Jets in exchange.
