WWE WrestleMania 38 rumors: Match order for Night 2 revealed
WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 2 is here and the reported match order for Sunday’s event in Arlington, TX has been revealed for fans to know what’s coming.
If anyone had low expectations for WWE WrestleMania 38, the first night at AT&T Stadium should have quelled those concerns. From Cody Rhodes’ return as The American Nightmare and a banger of a match with Seth Rollins, to Stone Cold Steve Austin having an actual match against Kevin Owens, to many other moments, it was a fantastic night of pro wrestling.
That does leave Night 2 on Sunday, April 3 with a tough act to follow. However, there is a ton of potential for that to happen.
But if you’re looking for how the night is going to play out, Fightful Select (subscription required) has offered up the match order for WrestleMania 38 Night 2. As they noted, this is always subject to change but, for now, this is the way the show should play out.
WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 2 reported match order
- Raw Tag Team Championship Match: RKBro (c) vs. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy
- Bobby Lashley vs. Omos
- Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Queen Zelina and Carmella (c) vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Natalya and Shayna Baszler
- AJ Styles vs. Edge
- Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory
- New Day vs. Sheamus and Ridge Holland
- Hall of Fame honored
- Winner Takes All Champion vs. Champion Match: Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar
It should come as no shock to anyone that Roman vs. Brock is set to main event Night 2 of WrestleMania given the hype train behind that match. With that said, we’re looking at an intriguing set of matches prior to that.
How things play out in the McAfee and Knoxville matches is going to be fascinating given that they don’t have pro wrestling backgrounds. Meanwhile, Styles and Edge could steal the show, as could the women’s tag match or the men’s tag title match.
In any case, Night 2 has a lot to live up to after the first night in Jerry World was an unforgettable affair.
