UNC had a commanding lead over Kansas in the National Championship game but they blew it and suffered with Crying Jordan memes for the rest of the night.
For a minute there, it looked like the Tar Heels would run away with the national title over Kansas.
The Jayhawks came out swinging but UNC finished the first half on a roll, going into the break up by 15 points.
Kansas flipped the script in the second half and closed the gap before holding off the Tar Heels in the end.

UNC didn’t get off easy with the meme treatment after blowing such a big advantage.
Best Crying Jordan memes after UNC choked vs. Kansas
It doesn’t help the Tar Heels that Michael Jordan played for them. The temptation to use the Crying Jordan meme on Monday night was extremely high.

The Jayhawks finished when it mattered most, even if they did give UNC a chance for a miracle in the waning seconds thanks to an unfortunate foot out of bounds.
The Tar Heels didn’t take advantage and had four missed shots in the final minute of play. It was Caleb Love’s missed heave at the buzzer that ended any hopes for UNC.
It was a rough way to end a magical season, but trolling was bound to happen. The Tar Heels dished their fair share towards Duke. It’s their turn to take it.
