The Kansas Jayhawks and UNC Tar Heels compete in the NCAA national championship game. Here is what time the contest starts.
The 2022 NCAA Tournament began with 68 teams, and now we are down to two. But only one team can call themselves national champions on Monday, Apr. 4.
At Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La., the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks take on the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA national championship game.
These two teams qualified following their Final Four wins. Kansas cruised to a 81-65 victory over the No. 2 Villanova Wildcats to clinch their spot in the national title game. Meanwhile, North Carolina scored a huge 81-77 win over the rival Duke Blue Devils in their first-ever meeting in the NCAA Tournament. Not only that, but the Tar Heels effectively ended the career of Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who announced that the 2021-22 season would be his last.
