UNC basketball National Championship hype video will have Tar Heels fans ready for battle
The UNC basketball National Championship hype video was a family affair with alumni from teams past getting fans ready for the big game.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are a strange underdog story in 2022. One of the most heralded programs in college basketball history is also playing to become only the second No. 8 seed to ever win it all.
All of North Carolina’s previous championships came as a No 1 seed. This year it’s a bit different. They’re the Cinderella story in the title game.
Still, the Tar Heels have a history of excellence and they’re leaning on that instead of the underdog narrative. The proof of that is in their hype video for Monday night.

Tar Heels fans will no doubt get chills from that one, thanks to voiceovers from a slew of UNC stars like Tyler Hansbrough, Justin Watts, KJ Smith, Marcus Ginyard, Shammond Williams, Melvin Scott, Derrick Phelps, Bobby Frasor and Kenny Smith.
Most of those voices know exactly what it takes to win a championship because they did it themselves. Who better to narrate a UNC hype video than those.
