UNC basketball fans are one win away from seeing the Tar Heels raise another national championship banner.
The No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels will take on the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks for the 2022 National Championship, and UNC basketball fans are just brimming with excitement over it.
There was a minute during the latter part of the regular season where it did not look like the Tar Heels would be making the NCAA Tournament. After beating Duke in the regular-season finale, it provided a spark for Hubert Davis’ team. Not only have they gone on an impressive run to the national championship, but they retired Mike Krzyzewski in the process during their Final Four win.
Here is how to listen to the UNC broadcast of the national championship game over the airwaves.
UNC basketball radio stream for national championship game
Here are the affiliate stations that make up the Tar Heel Sports Radio Network. There are local stations scattered throughout North Carolina, as well as national broadcasts both on SiriusXM and online. So whatever type of radio broadcast you would want for this game, you should have no problem getting it over the airwaves. With two blue-bloods going at it, what is not to love here?
If North Carolina were to win on Monday night, it would be the seventh national championship in school history. Perhaps even more impressive than doing so as a No. 8 seed, they would be doing it with a first-year head coach. Davis may have played for Dean Smith and served on Roy Williams’ staff, but the Tar Heels potentially winning it all under his leadership would be beyond impressive.
Waiting for North Carolina is a tough Kansas team that is playing its best basketball of the season.
