The Masters has come back to Augusta National Golf Club in 2022 and we have everything you need to know from payout, tee times, how to watch and more.

A trip to Augusta National Golf Club for The Masters might as well be a national holiday that lasts the entire week. Golf fans both serious and casual can’t help but buy all the way into the first major championship of the season — especially with Tiger Woods getting ready to tee it up for the first time in well over a year and since his injury.

This is the type of tournament, with such a hallowed ground as the setting and an absolutely loaded field, that fans won’t want to miss a single second of. Will we see Jordan Spieth continue his magic here? Does Tiger have another miracle in the tank? Will Rory McIlroy or Justin Thomas finally break through at Augusta? The narratives are endless.

We have you covered so that doesn’t happen with a breakdown of the tee times for Thursday and Friday and how you can watch every round throughout the tournament.

The Masters payout 2022: Purse and prize money

As of right now, Augusta National Golf Club has not yet announced the official purse and payouts. They will do so on Saturday. With that said, the purse last year was around $11.5 million and the expected announcement is that it will either be exactly the same or just slightly higher. With that total, the winners is paid out $2.07 million.

Players who miss the cut at Augusta still get $10,000, though amateurs aren’t paid. And the last-place player to make the cut last year made $28,290 or slightly less depending on how many players make the cut.
