Opening Day has arrived for the Chicago Cubs and major offseason signing Seiya Suzuki is all set to make his debut for the club.

The return of baseball at Wrigley Field has arrived and Chicago sports fans are loving life. Things are going to be even sweeter with standout outfielder Seiya Suzuki, who signed a five-year deal last month, ready to suit up for his first regular season game.

Leading up to the showdown with the Milwaukee Brewers, skipper David Ross released his lineup and he’s got Suzuki batting No. 6 for this one.

From the moment Suzuki takes the field against Milwaukee, there’s going to be countless eyes on him. His contract with Chicago is worth $85 million, only adding to the pressure of him needing to deliver for this club.

Ross has plenty of faith in him, but Suzuki also has plenty of doubters who don’t think he’ll be able to cut it in the bigs. He’ll have his chance to silence people hating on him the second he steps up to the plate against Milwaukee.
