2022 NFL Mock Draft: 2 quarterbacks land in the top-10
By Brad Weiss
The Cincinnati Bengals have seemingly had one goal this offseason, and that was to build the offensive line around Joe Burrow. They have added veteran talent via free agency, and here, they bring in a solid and versatile offensive lineman towards the end of the first round.
Tyler Smith has the size and feet to play on the interior or offensive tackle at the next level, and the Bengals need all the depth they can get upfront. With Smith in the fold, the Bengals could be done at offensive line this offseason, and Burrow certainly has to be glad they made it a priority.
The Detroit Lions close out the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft by selecting a wide receiver, making Skyy Moore the final pick of Day 1. Moore is someone who could come in and give Jared Goff another weapon on the outside, and we have already seen the emergence of some solid pass-catcher in Detroit.
The Lions appear to be set to roll with Goff for at least next season, and the good news for them is, that they have one of the first picks in the second round as well. The way this mock goes, there are some quarterback options available on Day 2, and they could bring someone in to learn behind Goff in 2022.
