One of the coolest things about a team winning a championship is the fact that they get some pretty fancy rings made to celebrate the occasion. It’s a tradition for many sports to have a championship ring made up for the victor.
And of course, one of the other coolest things about a team winning a championship is seeing what the design for the rings look like.
The Atlanta Braves have crafted some pretty fancy rings that feature an impressive number of diamonds squeezed into a pretty small space in celebration of the 2021 World Series winning team.
Seriously, you should check out the Braves‘ rings (and all 150 of their diamonds) here:
Atlanta Braves show off impressive and shiny World Series rings
That’s just all sorts of shiny.
There’s a number of details that have been packed in to this small, celebratory space. Thankfully, the Braves have helped us decode all of the secret little messages hidden within their rings and shared all of the Easter Eggs on social media.
We’ve got the following all on this fancy ring:
- Series results.
- Rubies signifying the Braves’ World Series titles.
- A pearl as a nod to Joc Pederson and the way fans embraced him.
- LED lights!
- More rubies, this time representing the home runs hit during the World Series.
- Even more rubies, this time cut into the shape of a tomahawk.
- A total of 44 emerald-cut diamonds honoring Hank Aaron.
- And so much more!
All things considered, it’s a good bit flashier than the rings Atlanta had made for the 1995 World Series, but the rings are still pretty cool.
There’s a lot going on with these rings. There’s also a lot of cool history being celebrated by the Braves here. It feels like a bit much, but there’s a lot to celebrate.
