Baylor baseball: Twitter reacts after Jared McKenzie hits home run to the moon
By Ethan Lee
As the Baylor baseball team beats up on the Kansas Jayhawks, Jared McKenzie’s incredible home run has wowed college baseball fans on Twitter.
The Baylor Bears are absolutely crushing the Kansas Jayhawks in Waco right now. The Baylor baseball team has been able to build a remarkable 19-2 lead over the Jayhawks. The Bears appear unstoppable.
Arguably the most impressive scoring to happen in the midst of all of this has to be Jared McKenzie’s absurd home run to get the scoring started for the Bears.
In the bottom of the first inning, with just a total of seven pitches having been thrown by the Jayhawks, McKenzie decided to send a home run right out of Baylor Ballpark and it looks like the ball may have somehow ended up in the Brazos River.
It’s insane! Just an incredible home run to put Baylor up 2-0. And according to the Bears, that home run went a total of 489 feet.
That’s some truly impressive stuff from McKenzie.

And of course, even though Baylor isn’t exactly a college baseball powerhouse and the Bears have struggled at times this year, a home run like this is going to get some attention.

You don’t hit something like that and not get folks talking about it.
And yeah, the Bears are thriving at the plate. McKenzie might have the most impressive home run Baylor will hit this year, but they’re scoring a ton of runs against Kansas right now.
