NBA Playoffs: How to watch Nets vs. Celtics, Game 1
By Scott Rogust
The Brooklyn Nets take on the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of their first-round series. Here is how you can watch the game.
The NBA Playoffs begin this weekend. While there will be four games on Saturday, Apr. 16, there will be four more contests on Sunday, Apr. 17. Arguably one of the most-anticipated first-round series will take place at 3:30 p.m., as the Brooklyn Nets take on the Boston Celtics.
Brooklyn had the seventh-best record in the Eastern Conference, but had to participate in the play-in tournament to clinch their playoff berth. Behind an incredible 34-point performance by Kyrie Irving, the Nets defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-108 to secure the No. 7 seed in the East. As a result, they will now take on Irving’s former team, the Celtics.
Boston had themselves a historic second-half of the 2021-22 season. At the halfway point of the campaign, the Celtics were 20-21. At the end of the regular-season, the Celtics secured the No. 2 seed with a 51-31 record. It will be fun to watch Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown battle it out with Irving and Kevin Durant, but the Nets are going to be a tough foe.
Here is how you can watch Game 1 of the first-round series between Brooklyn and Boston.
