Here is how you can watch Game 1 of the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies first-round series.
The NBA Playoffs have finally arrived, and there is a full day of action on Saturday, Apr. 16. The second game on the schedule will be Game 1 between the No. 7 Minnesota Timberwolves and the No. 2 Memphis Grizzlies.
Minnesota had the seventh-best record in the Western Conference, but they had to earn it in the play-in tournament. Despite star Karl-Anthony Towns having a less than ideal performance and fouling out, the Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 109-104. Now, Minnesota is in the playoffs for the first time since 2018.
The Timberwolves will have to take on a young Grizzlies team that dominated throughout the season. While it was an all-around team effort, it is hard to gloss over how well Ja Morant played. Through 57 games, Morant averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds, while shooting 49.3-percent from the field and 34.4-percent from the three-point line.
