The No. 7 Brooklyn Nets have an upset on their minds against No. 2 Boston and things will get started in a huge Game 1 on Sunday.

The NBA playoffs are here and one of the more intriguing matchups is no question the series between the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics. The Nets are the No. 7 seed, while the Celtics are No. 2.

Despite Boston being favored, the Nets are hopeful that they can surprise plenty of people and get through to the next round. For Sunday’s Game 1, the team will look to come out on top on the road. They’ll be going with Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Seth Curry, Bruce Brown and Andre Drummond as their starters.

Boston Celtics depth chart will be tested vs. Durant, Irving

The Nets closed the season out on a strong note and they’re ready to keep things going in Game 1. Brooklyn supporters will need to be a little more patient for the Ben Simmons return, as he’s still not quite ready to come back to action. There’s hope he could return by Game 4.

Even with Simmons still sidelined, Brooklyn standouts Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will be ready to power this team through early on in the series. Both guys are among the best players in the game, and they’ll surely give the Boston defense issues.

The Celtics will do everything possible to try and silence the two sharpshooters, but that’s going to be quite a difficult task. For Irving, he already knows the Boston fans will be ready to troll him from the second he steps out onto the hardwood, but that’s not going to bother him.

If anything, it will only motivate Irving to keep playing at such a high level and shut everyone in the stands up.
