Bob Arum reveals ‘mild COVID-19 symptoms’ ahead of Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte
Boxing promoter Bob Arum announced via Twitter that he will be unable to attend the Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte match due to mild COVID symptoms.
Longtime boxing promoter Bob Arum has made it clear that he backs Tyson Fury in any given matchup, even if “The Gypsy King” was fighting Mike Tyson in his prime.
Unfortunately for Arum, he won’t be able to see Fury take on Dillian Whyte on Saturday, April 23 at Wembley Stadium — at least not in person. Arum will be recovering from “mild COVID-19 symptoms” at home and will cheer on Tyson from afar, according to a statement that Arum issued over Twitter.

Although Arum won’t be able to show his support for Fury in London, the odds have been in Fury’s favor for quite some time. On Feb. 26, FanSided’s Jeremy Heriges reported that as soon as the Fury vs. Whyte odds hit WynnBet, Fury was expected to defeat Whyte at 5-1.
