Hanser Alberto

The 29-year-old righty is the last on the depth chart at all the infield positions. Alberto can do a lot for the Dodgers but will be to get in some playing time in order to benefit the team.

So far, he’s played in three games with five plate appearances. He’s hitting .200/.200/.200 with a +13 wRC and a .400 OPS. He does have one RBI on the season.

Alberto has also spent time with the Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, and Kansas City Royals. For his career, he has hit .276/.298/.382 in 388 games. He’s hit 17 homers during his seven-season career. He’s with the Dodgers on a one-year contract worth $1.6 million with a club option for 2023.

This will be an important season for Alberto. If he can continue working on hitting and building up playing time, it should benefit him and the Dodgers later this season.
