Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman reunited with his former Atlanta Braves teammates ahead of their game on Monday night.
After winning the World Series last season, Atlanta Braves longtime first baseman Freddie Freeman hit free agency. Both the Braves and Freeman could not reach an agreement on a contract, leading the first baseman to sign on with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Braves and Dodgers begin their three-game series at Dodger Stadium on Monday night. Ahead of the game, Freeman reunited and chatted with his former Atlanta teammates.
Freeman then spoke with the media ahead of the game and talked about what it felt like seeing his former teammates. The clip below comes courtesy of Bally Sports:

Throughout the offseason, there was a reported disagreement between the Braves and Freeman in contract negotiations. The first baseman was seeking a six-year contract, while the team was only willing to go five years. Talks never progressed, and both sides moved on.
The Braves pulled off a massive trade with the Oakland Athletics to acquire first baseman and Atlanta-native Matt Olson, where they then signed him to an eight-year, $168 million contract extension.
Meanwhile, Freeman signed a six-year, $162 million contract with the Dodgers.
For those wondering, Freeman officially makes his return to Truist Park as a member of the Dodgers on June 24 for the start of a three-game series.
